Meet us in Page, Arizona on Friday morning where we’ll get you to Antelope Point Marina, our launching pad. Our boat will be fully stocked with all of the food + drink you could hope for, so all you’ll need to do is get on it!
As you get settled, we’ll share a toast to an incredible weekend and take in the views.
Boat will depart from the dock at 4 p.m. on Friday afternoon.
We’re out on the open water, baby. Lake Powell is home to over 96 slot canyons and hundreds of deserted beaches where we’ll be the only boat for miles. We’ll be exploring the slot canyons as best we can, having plenty of fun in the sun with our water slide and the lake throughout the day.
For dinner, we’ll cook out on our BBQ while we find a deserted beach to anchor for the night. Choose to sleep on the boat, or on the shore under the stars.
After dinner we’ll launch into our first workshop on how to pitch yourself like a pro. If you’re hoping for national and international outlets to take notice, this is THE best workshop for you. We’ll go over the specifics and differences in pitching yourself or your business to radio, television, magazines and print publications. This is a great workshop for those who are hoping to garner more attention for their business.
**This is a workshop on how to be your own PR agent. For those looking to increase freelance writing outlets and opportunities, a separate time tomorrow will be made available to discuss crafting the perfect pitch.
Rise and shine early, because we’re exploring caves, waterfalls and mind-boggling natural formations throughout the morning.
As we take turns swimming and cooking out for lunch, we’ll continue our discussions on pitching and PR.
We’re going to squeeze every last bit of sunshine and fun out of the lake that we can, before returning to Antelope Point Marina at 4 p.m.
Things To Note:
– Because we’re visiting some very remote places, wi-fi will likely not be available, though some service providers will offer service. Plan to detach for a couple of days and have fun with us!
– Hot showers will be available on the boat, though you’ll need to make them quick, as we’ll be working with a limited fresh water supply.
– Though it’s warm in the day, it can get a little chilly at night, and while driving on the water. Bring a sweater or warm layers just in case!
– If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know in advance. 😉
