Kenya

Jambo! Welcome to the trip of a lifetime: A luxury Kenya safari and stay at the GIRAFFE MANOR!Β

This is a bucket listΒ trip and we are so excited to even be able to offer it – it is very hard, and very competitive, to get rooms here as there are only 6 in the lodge (our group has 3!)

If you're looking for luxury, relaxation, and unique experiences you'll rave about for years, this is the trip for you!

Feed giraffes from your adorable rod iron balcony, watch rhinos play at Solio Lodge, and follow a pride of lions in the Maasai Mara. This is a trip you will be raving about for years!

Note: As there are very few rooms in the lodges we stay in, single occupancy is not available. All rooms are sold as shared between 2 - come with a friend, or, we'll match you up!

Additional Information

We are working with the Safari Collection for this tour, staying in 3 of their properties:

Solio Lodge
Sasaab
Giraffe Manor

Due to the small size of these properties, only shared rooms are available and there are no single room options.

Flights: You'll fly in/out of Nairobi (NBO). We suggest flying Kenya Airways from JFK - Nairobi as a group for ease, but feel free to arrive anytime if that doesn't work for you.

Want us to advise on flights? Email us at info@damesly.com

Weather: Expect hot, dry days with temps from 75-80 degrees, and chilly evenings with temps in the 50s.

Packing: Sun protection (hat/sunscreen/sunglasses), bug spray or wipes, and comfortable, close-toed walking shoes are a must for this trip. Loose linens and light 'safari' colors will be best on safari to blend in better. You'll also need soft-shell luggage for the smaller, bush planes.

For entry into Kenya, you'll need:

  • Passport (valid for 6+ months)
  • Visa
  • Travel Insurance*

*Note: We require proof of travel insurance for all international departures.

This trip is confirmed and running, and so far 6 guests are registered per departure.
