Upon your arrival, private transport will be waiting to take you to your hotel. Welcome to Oman! Enjoy the beautiful sunset from the beach or cliffs above, and delicious food from this definitive seaside hotel.
After some rest, we’ll have dinner as a group.

After breakfast, you will begin your day of exploration of Muscat, the modern capital city filled with traditional Omani heritage. You will experience the beauty of the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and his majesty’s gift to the world,
The Royal Opera House. Next, take a peek into the history of Oman at the Bait Al Zubair museum. You will also pause at the Al Alam Palace, the official palace of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos.
Next, your driver will take you along the breathtaking waterfront Corniche of the Mutrah area and historic Mutrah Souq.
Afterward, we have a real treat: the chance to enjoy an evening at a local businesswoman’s home. This unique opportunity is a Damesly exclusive — and allows you the chance to better understand what life is like in Oman for women.

After breakfast, you will take a short flight to Khasab, also referred to as the ‘Norway of Arabia’ for the fjord-like inlets and mountainscapes.
Upon landing, you will have a tour of the city including the Khasab Fort and local museum.
Afterward, you will have the opportunity to explore the guardian mountains, viewing village life, and high-altitude sea fossils.
Dinner will be served at the hotel.

After breakfast, we’re getting in the water!
Today, you will be taken on a day-long Dhow boat adventure to view the incredible Omani fjords and ride on the ocean alongside pods of dolphins.
Scuba diving and snorkeling are available.
Lunch will be served on water. After this day of soaking in the sun, you will enjoy dinner at the hotel.

After breakfast and a short flight back to Muscat, you will set out on the mountain road to Nizwa. Along the way we’ll have a photo stop in Fanja, the ‘Gateway to Oman’s Interior.’
Then you will head to the Wahiba Sands desert, named after the Bani Wahiba tribe native to this area. On the way, you will visit Wadi Bani Khalid, a valley with pristine flowing water and spectacular sights.
After resting at the wadi, you will continue on to Wahiba Sands where you can experience sunset in the desert, enjoy a traditional Bedouin meal, and rest at our desert accommodations.

After waking up to a beautiful sunrise over the dunes, we will have breakfast at the camp then head to a local bedouin house.
This gives you a sneak peek into the life of these desert nomads. From here, we’ll head out of the desert and you will embark on a day of swimming adventures. (Don’t forget your towel and a change of clothes!)
First, you will take a short hike into Wadi Shab – one of the most picturesque wadis in all of Oman. Then experience one of Oman’s hidden gems and the deep blues and aquas of the Bimmah Sinkhole near the village of Dibab.
After enjoying these aquatic treasures, we will return to Muscat.

Today you will experience the wild history of Oman’s Al Batinah region before heading into the majestic Hajar Mountains.
Departing from Muscat, your eyes will be opened to Oman’s conflict-ridden past that led to the necessity of constructing many of the fortresses which dot the landscape from north to south.
First, you will stop by an impressive fort in Nakhal dating from the pre-Islamic era, built upon bare rock overlooking the surrounding date plantations. Next, you will head into the heart of the mountains and witness breathtaking views as your 4-wheel drive vehicles take you to the village of Bald Sayt, prominently featured in many of Oman’s publications.
You will then climb up and over the mountains, continuing on to Jebel Shams, the tallest mountain in Oman.
Hidden there is Wadi Ghul, Oman’s very own grand canyon. Take a chance to hike around or walk around to find the best vistas to take some amazing photos. Afterward, head to our hotel on the mountain, where dinner will be served

After breakfast, we will depart down the mountain road toward Nizwa, the former capital of Oman. You will be taken back in time as you visit the Friday morning animal souk, where men and women haggle over livestock as they have for centuries.
From there, we’ll visit a nearby market where it’s shopping time! Here we’ll take a break to browse and purchase some amazing Omani silver crafts and other beautiful handmade items.
After, we’ll visit Nizwa Fort, a masterpiece of defensive architecture, filled with artisans, and Omani cultural experiences.
After our early morning adventures, we’ll travel up the mountain to Jebel Akhdar to the premier resort of Anantara. Enjoy the amenities this afternoon, and the incredible view from Princess Diana point. Enjoy dinner on your own at your hotel.

After breakfast, we’ll head down the mountains, with a stop, time permitting, at Birkat Al Mouz, a village nestled against the side of the mountain, and home to oases and plantations.
Saying “Goodbye” to this beautiful land and people, we will then be transported to the airport, in order to connect to your flights out of Oman.
We recommend booking your departing flight after 2 pm, if possible.

Your accommodation will be in a variety of 4-5 star properties throughout Oman. Rooms are priced to share with one other gal on our trip.
To upgrade to your own room on this tour, the fee is $1500.
Fly into Muscat. Arrive anytime on Day 1, and depart in the afternoon after 2 pm on departure day.
