Day 2: November 5th —Saqarra & Dashur

Today is all about ancient history—and pyramids! We’re taking you today to regions that not many travelers get a chance to see, including the ancient burial grounds of Saqarra and the Red, Black, and Bent Pyramids of Dahshur.

The pyramids of Dahshur are said to be where the Egyptians perfected pyramid-building technology. The Red Pyramid is also one of the few pyramids you can walk into freely.
