What’s the cancellation policy?

We’ve recently made it even easier to cancel a tour, should something come up. Please note, all Damesly trips include a $500 non-refundable deposit – this is due to booking fees that we incur with our in-country partners.

Cancellation charges:

    • 30 Days or more before departure: Full credit towards another tour, or, refund minus your $500 deposit.
    • 29 Days or Less before departure: No credit, no refund
    • Cancellations Made at or During Trip: No credit, no refund
    • No Shows: No credit, no refund

What's your Covid-19 policy?

We require all guests to be fully vaccinated. Travel restrictions change frequently – please ensure you have done the research as to what entry requirements may be required by both country, and airline.

 

Why is it just for women?

We’re a tour operator created by women, and we really believe the key to success is community. We are building a platform that allows women to help each other out, personally and professionally. Keeping our tours to women-only allows for a more comfortable environment, in which all voices, thoughts and perspectives are on an equal playing field. No question is silly here, no issue is too small or too big. We are stronger together than we are on our own and we are here to build one another up.

What will I take away from a trip?

On our workshop tours: expert knowledge of a new industry, skill or hobby, complete with one-on-one instruction from a woman who is killing it in that field. You can also expect to gain a new community of friends to call upon for professional help, and a new pool of resources you can tap into when necessary. On the rest of our tours, you’ll find much of the same, plus some seriously cool travel stories.

What ages come on your tours?

We welcome women 21+, but our typical groups tend to be made up of women in their 30s-60s.

We can’t predict the ages of participants on any given tour. All participants in good health with a reasonable level of fitness are welcomed.

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes, we require all participants to have travel insurance. Proof of insurance will be requested before the tour begins. We recommend World Nomads for travel insurance.

Is there a single supplement?

We hate the term “single supplement,” because most of our travelers are traveling solo! However, all tours are priced and sold based on shared accommodation unless otherwise stated. If you would like your own room, we are happy to upgrade you. Is the workshop required?

Some tours may have include creative workshops. We structure these experiences to enhance personal + professional growth and the workshop is a key component to our trips. If you’re really not interested in the learning aspect of our tours, you do not have to attend the workshop. Though, the price is fixed as is, so take the opportunity to learn or perfect a new skill!
