Who we are

We’re a boutique tour company specializing in luxury small group tours for creative and professional women.

Founded by travel maven Kelly Lewis and supported by a team of well-traveled ladies, we’re here to create and support an empowering community of women who work hard and travel often.

Whether curating a small group luxury tour or planning the perfect private departure, we love what we do and we’re so thankful to lead one of the best travel communities in the world.

How we started

Damesly started in 2016 as a way of connecting inspiring, hard-working women to each other and the world. For so long group tours seemed to either cater to the elderly, or to college students – we felt left out!

We knew there were lots of women like us, who were killing it in their careers and making great money – but didn’t necessarily have the time or desire to plan a whole vacation – and who also preferred not to go it alone.

We’ve since connected thousands of women through the power of travel – and have watched many of them go on to be best friends and even business partners!

Kelly Lewis

Kelly Lewis is the CEO of Damesly and a fierce women's travel maven.

A speaker, a business coach and an entrepreneur, she also created women's travel brands like Go! Girl Guides and the Women's Travel Fest.

In 2021, she wrote the best-selling book "Tell Her She Can't: Inspiring Stories of Unstoppable Women."

She started Damesly to make more travel friends, and introduce you to her favorite people and places along the way.

Head of customer support

Miranda Brooks

Miranda is our amazing head of customer support. A former high school German teacher, she believes “there’s no greater education than travel.” After 14 years teaching, she left her career in education, hiked through Spain on the Camino de Santiago, and moved with her husband and dog to Portland, Oregon. She spends her free time hiking, running, and exploring all the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

Alexis Dean-Shubin

Alexis turned her passion for travel into a career 10 years ago, and it has taken her around the world. In 2018 she began documenting her adventures as a plus size traveler to bring body inclusivity into the spotlight, and encourage others to experience the many wonders of the world.

Retha Charette

Retha is all about women supporting women and has been from a young age because of her membership in the Girl Scouts. She loves sharing her passion for travel and discovery with others and is always looking for new and exciting places to explore.

Timathea Workman

Timathea has traveled extensively around the globe. When she is not traveling she teaches writing and life skills to teenagers and works as a freelance writer, editor, photographer, and bookmaker in Los Angeles. She is the creator of Mejo, the unique travel memoir journals. She also rescues pigeons.

Bryn Silverman

Bryn is a filmmaker and photographer whose work focuses on portraiture. She believes in empowering women through film/photography. She's the trip leader for all of our photography and video related tours.

Heidi Zsa Zsa Benedikt

Heidi’s sea-going career ended with assisting in the NYC evacuation on Sept 11, 2001. Reevaluating her life, it seemed the perfect time to retire her Captain’s license and combine her passion for travel with a new career in tourism. How strange to now have the greatest job in the world from one of the worst days in her life. She loves being a tour guide and tour director.

Lisa's life-long passions include travel, people, food, philanthropy, and design. That degree in Interior Architecture? So she could design gorgeous spaces, and travel to gorgeous spaces around the globe.
