The Journeys Worth Sharing referral program (the “Program”) is offered by Damesly LLC (“Damesly,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to reward eligible past Damesly travelers who refer new travelers to qualifying Damesly group trips. By participating in the Program as either a referring traveler (“Referrer”) or referred traveler (“Referred Traveler”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Eligibility
To participate as a Referrer, you must have previously traveled on a qualifying Damesly group trip.
To qualify as a Referred Traveler, you must be booking your first qualifying Damesly group trip. Returning or past Damesly travelers are not eligible for the new-traveler referral discount.
The Program applies only to scheduled Damesly group trips. Private trips, custom itineraries, private departures, and other products or services are excluded unless Damesly expressly states otherwise.
Self-referrals are not permitted. A traveler may not refer herself through another email address, account, booking, or other method.
Only one Referrer may be associated with each Referred Traveler and qualifying booking. Referral rewards cannot be divided among multiple Referrers.
All referrals are subject to verification and approval by Damesly.
2. Submitting a Referral
The Referred Traveler should identify her Referrer when requested during the Damesly booking process.
After the Referred Traveler's booking has been submitted and the required initial deposit has been received, Damesly will verify that the referral meets Program requirements.
If the Referred Traveler does not identify her Referrer during booking, the referral may still be submitted by contacting Damesly within seven (7) calendar days of the initial deposit payment and before the balance invoice has been issued, whichever occurs first.
Referrals submitted after this period may be denied. Damesly is not responsible for missing, incomplete, incorrect, misspelled, or improperly submitted referral information.
3. Referred Traveler Discount
Once an eligible referral has been verified, the Referred Traveler will receive a $200 USD discount toward her first qualifying Damesly group trip.
The discount will generally be applied toward the Referred Traveler's remaining trip balance after the required initial deposit has been received and the referral has been approved.
The referral discount:
- Has no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Cannot be transferred, gifted, sold, or assigned to another traveler or booking.
- Cannot be applied to private or custom travel.
- Generally cannot be combined with other discounts, promotional offers, sale pricing, or similar incentives unless expressly approved by Damesly.
- Does not reduce or replace any required initial deposit unless expressly approved by Damesly.
- Remains subject to the cancellation and payment terms applicable to the underlying trip.
4. Referrer Travel Credit
For each qualifying referral, the Referrer will earn a $200 USD Damesly travel credit.
The credit will initially be designated Pending and is not available for use while pending.
The credit becomes Active once the Referred Traveler has made her required final trip payment.
Once Active, the credit may be applied toward the outstanding balance of any qualifying scheduled Damesly group trip that has not yet been paid in full.
If the Referrer and Referred Traveler are traveling on the same qualifying departure, the Referrer may apply the credit toward her remaining balance provided that the Referred Traveler's final payment has been received, the referral credit has become Active, and the Referrer's booking has not already been paid in full.
If the Referrer's booking has already been paid in full when the credit becomes Active, the credit cannot be applied retroactively or issued as a refund. It will instead remain available for another qualifying Damesly group trip, subject to the expiration terms below.
5. Credit Expiration
Referral credits expire twelve (12) months after the date they become Active.
The credit must be applied to a qualifying Damesly booking within that 12-month period. The qualifying trip itself may depart after the credit's expiration date, provided the credit was applied to the booking before it expired.
Unused credits automatically expire after 12 months and, unless expressly approved by Damesly, will not be reinstated, extended, refunded, or exchanged for cash.
6. Multiple Referrals & Combining Credits
There is no limit to the number of qualifying travelers an eligible Referrer may refer or the number of referral credits she may earn.
Multiple Active referral credits earned by the same Referrer may be combined toward the same qualifying Damesly group trip.
For example, a traveler who earns three qualifying $200 referral credits may apply the full $600 toward one qualifying booking.
Referral credits generally may not be combined with other Damesly discounts, promotional codes, sale pricing, or special offers unless expressly approved by Damesly.
Each referral must independently satisfy all Program requirements.
7. Cancellations, Refunds & Revocation
If a Referred Traveler cancels her booking before making her required final payment, any associated Pending referral credit will automatically be voided.
Once a referral credit becomes Active, it will generally remain available to the Referrer even if the Referred Traveler subsequently cancels her trip, subject to the terms below.
Damesly reserves the right to revoke or adjust an Active referral credit if the underlying Referred Traveler's booking is:
- Fully refunded;
- Disputed or charged back;
- Determined to be fraudulent; or
- Otherwise determined not to have qualified for the Program.
If a revoked or adjusted referral credit has already been applied to another Damesly booking, Damesly may remove the credit from that booking, add the corresponding amount back to the traveler's outstanding balance, offset the amount against other available credits, or otherwise make a reasonable adjustment necessary to correct the account.
All trip cancellations remain subject to the applicable Damesly booking terms and cancellation policies.
8. No Cash Value or Transferability
Referral credits and discounts are promotional benefits and do not constitute cash, stored value, a gift card, or property belonging to the participant.
Referral credits and discounts cannot be:
- Redeemed or exchanged for cash;
- Refunded for cash;
- Sold;
- Transferred;
- Gifted;
- Assigned to another traveler; or
- Exchanged for another Damesly product or service except as expressly permitted under the Program.
No cash or other compensation will be provided for unused, expired, revoked, or otherwise forfeited credits.
9. Promotions & Other Discounts
Referral discounts and referral credits generally may not be combined with other Damesly discounts, promotional codes, special offers, sale pricing, or similar incentives unless Damesly expressly states otherwise.
Where multiple promotions or discounts could potentially apply, Damesly reserves the right to determine which offer applies to the booking.
This restriction does not prevent a Referrer from combining multiple Active referral credits she has legitimately earned under the Program toward the same qualifying booking.
10. Fraud, Abuse & Program Integrity
Damesly reserves the right to review, deny, suspend, revoke, or adjust any referral, discount, or credit if Damesly reasonably determines that a participant has engaged in fraud, abuse, manipulation, or conduct inconsistent with the purpose of the Program.
Examples may include, but are not limited to:
- Self-referrals;
- Duplicate or fictitious accounts;
- False or sham bookings;
- Bookings made primarily to generate referral benefits;
- Referral swapping or reciprocal arrangements designed primarily to generate credits;
- Misrepresentation of a referral;
- Attempts to associate multiple Referrers with the same Referred Traveler;
- Fraudulent payments or chargebacks;
- Selling or transferring referral benefits; or
- Manipulating the Program in a manner not intended by Damesly.
Damesly's determination regarding eligibility, qualification, misuse, referral attribution, or the appropriate adjustment of a referral benefit will be final to the extent permitted by applicable law.
11. Referral Attribution & Disputes
The referral information submitted during booking, together with Damesly's booking and referral records, will generally determine which Referrer receives credit for a qualifying referral.
If more than one person claims to have referred the same traveler, Damesly may determine the qualifying Referrer based on the information reasonably available to us, including the information provided by the Referred Traveler.
Damesly is not obligated to investigate private conversations, social media interactions, verbal recommendations, or other communications between participants to resolve referral disputes.
12. Trip Availability
Earning or holding a referral credit does not guarantee availability on any particular Damesly trip, departure date, room type, itinerary, or destination.
All bookings remain subject to availability, minimum participation requirements, Damesly's standard booking terms, and any trip-specific terms or restrictions.
A referral credit does not reserve or hold space on a trip.
13. Taxes
Participants are responsible for any federal, state, local, or other taxes that may arise from receiving or using Program benefits.
Damesly does not provide tax advice and makes no representation regarding the tax treatment of referral credits or discounts.
14. Program Changes or Termination
The Program is offered at Damesly's discretion.
Damesly reserves the right to modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue the Program, in whole or in part, at any time.
Changes may include modifications to eligibility requirements, qualifying trips, referral or credit amounts, activation requirements, expiration periods, redemption rules, or other Program features.
Unless a modification is necessary because of fraud, misuse, legal or regulatory requirements, or circumstances outside Damesly's reasonable control, material Program changes will not retroactively eliminate valid Active referral credits earned before the effective date of the change.
15. Relationship to Damesly Booking Terms
Participation in Journeys Worth Sharing does not modify or replace Damesly's standard booking terms, traveler agreement, cancellation policies, payment requirements, or any trip-specific terms.
If there is a conflict between these Program Terms and the terms governing a specific trip or booking, the applicable trip or booking terms will control with respect to the trip itself, while these Program Terms will control the administration of referral benefits.
16. Limitation of Program Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Damesly will not be responsible for losses resulting from expired, revoked, incorrectly submitted, delayed, or unused referral credits or discounts, except where caused by Damesly's failure to comply with applicable law.
Participation in the Program does not guarantee that a referral will result in a booking, that a particular trip will operate, or that a participant will be able to use a credit toward a particular departure.
