Jambo! Welcome to the trip of a lifetime: A luxury Kenya safari and stay at the GIRAFFE MANOR!

This is a bucket list trip and we are so excited to even be able to offer it – it is very hard, and very competitive, to get rooms here as there are only 6 in the lodge (our group has 3!)

If you're looking for luxury, relaxation, and unique experiences you'll rave about for years, this is the trip for you!

Feed giraffes from your adorable rod iron balcony, watch rhinos play at Solio Lodge, and follow a pride of lions in the Maasai Mara. This is a trip you will be raving about for years!

Note: As there are very few rooms in the lodges we stay in, single occupancy is not available. All rooms are sold as shared between 2 - come with a friend, or, we'll match you up!

Picture Yourself

  • Experiencing true luxury at Giraffe Manor Nairobi
  • Having breakfast with cute giraffes peeking through your window
  • Safari-ing through one of the only rhino sanctuaries in the world
  • Journeying through the magical Maasai Mara, one of Africa's greatest wildlife reserves
  • Staying in some of the world's most stunning luxury lodges

A city skyline reflected in a lake at sunset, showing the urban side of Kenya.

After breakfast with the giraffes, we will say a sad goodbye to Giraffe Manor - but hello to Nairobi!

Because most international flights depart from Nairobi in the very late evening, we have taken the liberty of planning something for us all to do. If your flight leaves during the day, no worries! We will transfer you to the airport at any point.

For the rest of us who likely don't depart until 9 pm or midnight, we will spend our final day exploring Nairboi, including a stop to the Kazuri Bead Factory, a bead collective that is women-owned and run, and, a visit to the African Heritage Museum.

After an afternoon of exploring, we will check into day rooms at the Four Points by Nairobi Airport, giving us time to freshen up and rest before the long flight home.

Kenya Safari Trip FAQs

The Safari Collection

We are working with the Safari Collection for this tour, staying in 3 of their properties:

Solio Lodge

Sala's Camp

Giraffe Manor

Due to the small size of these properties, only shared rooms are available and there are no single room options.

Flights + Weather + Packing

Flights: You'll fly in/out of Nairobi (NBO). We suggest flying Kenya Airways from JFK - Nairobi as a group for ease, but feel free to arrive anytime if that doesn't work for you.

Want us to advise on flights? Email us at info@damesly.com

Weather: Expect hot, dry days with temps from 75-80 degrees, and chilly evenings with temps in the 50s.

Packing: Sun protection (hat/sunscreen/sunglasses), bug spray or wipes, and comfortable, close-toed walking shoes are a must for this trip. Loose linens and light 'safari' colors will be best on safari to blend in better. You'll also need soft-shell luggage for the smaller, bush planes.

Is this tour right for me?

At Damesly, our goal is to connect women through beautifully curated travel experiences.

Our trips feature a high level of customer support and a focus on cultural interaction and experiences. We’re dames who work hard, and travel often. So when you use your coveted PTO days, we want you to have the best trip possible! To do this, we hand-select boutique hotels based on location and service. We look for unique properties that we think of as hidden gems, which may or may not be 5-stars. Our itineraries offer a mix of adventure and relaxation. We’re not afraid to get a little dirty to have the most fun experiences, but if there’s an infinity pool or a great spa afterwards — we’ll meet you there!

Traveling the world comes with rewards and challenges. Our traveler is someone who is easy-going and open minded to new experiences and cultures, ready to get out of their comfort zone and understands that travel leads to personal growth, even on its toughest days. Join us if you’re adventurous, kind, open-minded and ready for the trip of a lifetime.

On this tour to Kenya, you can expect the most luxurious stays of your life, and safari experiences that are so beautiful they will bring tears to your eyes. The safari lodges (and Giraffe Manor) where we stay are absolutely next level. For example: at Solio Lodge (a rhino reserve), while you're having dinner, your butler tucks a hot water bottle in your sheets and draws you a hot bath. This is definitely a splurge trip, but you will remember it for as long as you live!
