Tahiti

Tahiti is a destination people often "save" to visit with their partners. But what happens when those partners can't ever get the time off work to come? We're here to say - don't wait! This island nation is also an awesome place to travel with friends, too. Let us show you our favorite corners and properties of beautiful French Polynesia!

This women-only 7 day/6-night tour to Tahiti checks so many things off the bucketlist: staying in an overwater bungalow, snorkeling with rays, picnics on remote motus, and much, much more!

Our adventure was carefully crafted to balance exploration, relaxation, and cultural immersion. We want to show you the iconic sights of Tahiti, but take you beyond the big resorts, too.

Pack your sunscreen and every swimsuit you own babe, we're going to Tahiti!

Day 2: Island of Tahiti

This morning after breakfast, we'll set off to explore the vibrant island of Tahiti, with the goal of having today to get to better know and understand this beautiful island nation, its people, spirituality, and traditions.

Most visitors to Tahiti skip over the island of Tahiti itself — but that's a mistake! Today, you'll see why.

Papeete Street Food Tour

Our first stop is in the town of Papeete itself. We'll go by private transfer to the town of Papeete for great introduction to the islands, with a tour of Papeete discovering not only the history of the town, but also the different flavors that color the lifestyle.

After, amidst taking in some of the island's most stunning sights, we'll have a private flower crown making class together, and a Tahitian dance workshop!

This morning after breakfast, we'll check out of our hotel and travel to the port to catch a ferry to our next island: Moorea!

You'll absolutely love the relaxing vibes of Moorea, and the stunning beauty of the tall green mountains surrounded by turquoise seas. Watch for dolphins and whales on our 45-minute ferry ride to Moorea.

After arriving, we'll drop our things at the hotel before setting out for a fun afternoon in the lagoon!

Discovery of the beauties of the island of Moorea onboard a comfortable catamaran while learning about the flora, the fauna its legends. Swim with rays, black tip sharks and turtles in crystal blue water under the supervision of a fascinating guide.

A local experience to the fullest with a Polynesian barbecue lunch, eaten with our feet in the water, served on a large sandbank!

Day 4: Lagoon & Whale WatchingTour

Day 5: Moorea to Huahine

This morning after breakfast, we will wave goodbye to our lovely Moorea hotel, check out, and transfer to the airport to grab a short interisland flight to our next destination — the island of Huahine!

Many visitors to Tahiti stick to the Moorea-Bora Bora track, and never venture to lovely Huahine. But this quaint, beautiful island is worth exploring, if only for its rich history and plentiful archaeological relics.

We'll get the chance to experience more local flavor, as we uncover the secrets of Huahine. After landing in Huahine, we'll check into our hotel and have some downtime to relax.

Meals: B, L

Hotel: Maitai Lupita Village Huahine

Day 7: Tahiti Departures

This morning after breakfast, we'll catch a flight from Huahine back to the island of Tahiti. Today is also departure day, but since most international flights depart in the evening, we'll have some time to relax during the day at the Intercontinental Resort.

Packing: Sun protection (hat/sunscreen/sunglasses), close-toed, comfortable walking shoes, and loose/comfortable clothing are a must for this trip. Additionally you’ll want a small backpack for personal items and as many swimsuits as you can pack!

For entry into Tahiti, you'll need:

  • Passport (valid for 6+ months)
  • Travel Insurance*

*Note: We require proof of travel insurance for all international departures.

At Damesly, our goal is to connect women through beautifully curated travel experiences.

Our trips feature a high level of customer support and a focus on cultural interaction and experiences. We’re dames who work hard, and travel often. So when you use your coveted PTO days, we want you to have the best trip possible! To do this, we hand-select boutique hotels based on location and service. We look for unique properties that we think of as hidden gems, which may or may not be 5-stars. Our itineraries offer a mix of adventure and relaxation. We’re not afraid to get a little dirty to have the most fun experiences, but if there’s an infinity pool or a great spa afterwards — we’ll meet you there!

Traveling the world comes with rewards and challenges. Our traveler is someone who is easy-going and open minded to new experiences and cultures, ready to get out of their comfort zone and understands that travel leads to personal growth, even on its toughest days. Join us if you’re adventurous, kind, open-minded and ready for the trip of a lifetime.

On this tour to Tahiti, you can expect a mixture of luxury (hello, overwater bungalows!) and cultural authenticity (ia orana, Huahine). We wanted to show you both the resort side to Tahiti that everyone knows, as well as more of the true heartbeat of the islands with experiences that get you off the beaten path. We're in and out of the water most days on this trip, so sun protection is essential! Come ready to swim, ready to chill, and ready to get to know a great group of Dames on this epic trip to Tahiti.

Will you match me?
Of course! If you choose a space in a shared room but you're traveling solo, we will do our best to pair you with a roommate. Roommates are matched based on arrival time and perceived compatibility. Sharing a room is a great way to save costs, and make a new friend! However, we ask you to approach the situation with an open mind, some grace, and maybe a little humor.

While 99% our travelers are amazing, we can't guarantee that you'll hit it off with your roommate, or that your sleeping styles will be compatible.

Is sharing right for you?
If you are a light sleeper, get easily irritated or just know that you need your own space, sharing a room might not be for you. Likewise, if you know that you snore, sleep with a CPAP machine or have other health conditions, sharing a room might not be the best fit.

What if I don't get along with my roommate?
If you've tried but you absolutely can't get along with your roommate and need to separate, your trip leader will either swap things around, or, attempt to get you your own room. If the latter, additional charges will incur.

What if I book a double room, and you can't match me?
We book a certain amount of hotel rooms before any tour, and are bound by their rules. In the event that we cannot find a roommate for you before the tour, and your room converts to a single room, there may be additional charges.

Small group trips require at least 4 people to run. We will confirm as soon as possible when the trip has met its minimum; up to 60 days before departure. For this reason, we recommend waiting until after a trip has been confirmed to purchase airfare. Any tour can be converted to a private departure when a trip does not meet its minimum. Additional costs may incur. Alternatively, apply your credit to any small-group tour departing within 12 months.

When you book a tour with us, our team will create a customer portal for you, where you can make payments towards this tour at your leisure.

If you’d prefer, we can create a payment schedule for you, just let our accounting team know (accounting@damesly.com) Tours must be paid in full 60 days before departure.

This tour to Tahiti must be paid in full by June 5th, 2025. See our cancellation policy here.
